ROUTE ITINERARY

We pick u up from the airport soon after arrival with our trained and skilled Tour guide. We take you towards the booked hotel at Arusha or Moshi for check in. Get a briefly safari briefing from a tour guide to familiarize our destinations and overview for the coming safari itinerary.
Soon after breakfast you will drive from Mosh or Arusha to Babati for almost 5 hours. Get stopover for some rest and Lunch for 1-2 hours and have a drive and walk safaris at Managhat village, original home of the Gorowa tribe, to see dairy farming activities, farming with ox plow, a bio-gas system local Gorowa huts and optionally a Killer Bee-keeping project at the bottom of Mount Kwaraa.
Get a walk to Managhat village experience the hike of Bambaay hill from where you might spot the spectacular superb Rift Valley landscape with magnificent of Lake Babati and Lake Manyara and the Maasai Plain to the east where you will stopover for lunch before a transit to a superb respectful Gorowa tribes man, Mzee Kwaraa, for an insight on Gorowa culture, marriage ceremonies, rain prayers, burial, religious and circumcision rituals. Optionally, you can row, fish and view hippos on Lake Babati using local canoes.
After breakfast you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the 'Hadzabe' (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi, Nilotic-speaking Tatoga tribe. Get a visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, Early Morning Hunting, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walking around the lake, after all activities at Lake Eyasi with tribe people you will stopover for Lunch before board your vehicle to Lake Natron. On arrival at Lake Natron you will meet with the indigenous Guide who will take you to waterfall and other Natron Core attractions before back to Babati.
This tour enables you to mix with the Barbaig tribes and gain cultural insight on their marriage procedures, burial rites, local taboos, way of making ornaments and goatskin dresses and their daily activities. Try to head cattle or fetch water with Barbaig way and take pictures with them. Water falls. Mount Hanang trekking tour and God’s Bridge walk are other interesting options.
